Join us on the second Monday of each month for readings from emerging and established fiction writers, memoirists, essayists, and poets. We showcase local talent and host authors from around the world.
Admission is FREE! We have craft beer specials and hold a free raffle for our authors' latest books.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 8PM: We're kicking off our fall season with a celebration of new fiction by stellar authors Marie-Helene Bertino (Exit Zero), Cleyvis Natera (The Grand Paloma Resort), Denne Michele Norris (When the Harvest Comes), Halle Butler (Banal Nightmare), Crystal Hana Kim (The Stone Home), and Benedict Nguyen (Hot Girls with Balls). MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 7PM: Join us for our Brooklyn Book Festival Bookend Event, Franklin Park Lit! We'll be partnering with fellow Franklin Park series World Transsexual Forum for an exciting night of lit, drinks, and mingling featuring acclaimed authors Amie Barrodale (Trip), Zefyr Lisowski (Uncanny Valley Girls), Chet'la Sebree (Blue Opening), and Emily Zhou (Girlfriends)! Enjoy short readings, drink specials, a free book raffle, and a panel discussion led by authors and World Trans curators Anton Solomonik and Jeanne Thornton.
